The School of Business
The School of Business is committed to providing students with the educational foundation needed for life-long learning and success in both the regional and global business communities. Through quality instruction enhanced by timely research and professional service, the faculty members strive to continuously improve the business curricula, giving students a cutting-edge educational experience.
It is the desire of the School of Business faculty that students develop skills and knowledge that will help them advance in their career endeavors, present and future. To help achieve this goal, courses are designed to provide the foundation of knowledge that is both current and relevant to the course topics. It is our aim to help students develop those skills that employers will value and reward.
Students in the School of Business have numerous opportunities as they advance in their chosen disciplines to take courses that offer "real" projects with real problems that real organizations struggle to solve. In doing so, students are challenged in ways in which they may expect to be challenged by their employers.
