Types of Positions

Economists who work for government agencies assess economic conditions in order to estimate the economic effects of specific changes in legislation or public policy. Most work in the area of labor, agriculture, or quantitative analysis.

Market Research Analysts gather and analyze statistical data on past sales, competitors, prices, and methods of marketing and distribution to predict future sales.

Survey Researchers design and conduct surveys. They use surveys to collect information that is used for research, making fiscal or policy decision, and measuring effectiveness.
