Laura Serviere has a Ph.D. in International Business and Marketing from The University of Texas-Pan American, Edinburg Texas. Her dissertation addresses the consumption of high-end piracy products and the moderating role that neutralization plays on such consumption.
Her work has been published in The Journal for the Advancement of Marketing Education, The Asian Journal of Marketing, Journal of International Management Studies, and The Journal of Applied Business and Economics. In addition, she has over ten papers accepted at numerous conferences including the Association for Consumer Research (ACR), The Academy of Marketing Science (AMS), and the University of Illinois at Chicago Research Symposium on Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
Her research interests include: consumer behavior, services marketing, and the issues that emerge from the interaction between marketing and entrepreneurship. Her teaching interests include: advertising and integrated marketing communications, services marketing, retailing, consumer behavior, international marketing, and sales management.
